God is my Hope

Psalm 62

Security is one of human needs. Many people who dare to pay dearly to get their sense of security, for example by paying a personal bodyguard.
David never in a position of insecurity, namely when dealing with people who intend to drop him from his position, with a variety of ways (4-5). In a crisis situation like that, David knew where to go, namely to God, who became his refuge (2-3), (6-7). David knew that God is the foundation of salvation and glory. That is why he encourages people to trust God always. And that may be expressed by praying to Him (8-9).

According to David, it is not wise to depend on humans if people want to seek protection and security. It was at that time David had to deal with people who want to fall in any way (10-11). For David, people such as wind, do not have any meaning and have no power at all. Because it was a safe haven, the only thing is God. He is omnipotent, loving loyal, and always play fair (12-13).

We certainly never encountered a crisis because of various problems which affected our lives. In such circumstances, to whom we want to hang up hope and we trust? Is there a God as the first and the only one we remember when we in the Netherlands crisis? Only by bringing ourselves closer and attached to the maintenance of his power that transcends all understanding, we will obtain even flow of tranquility and peace are in the midst of the storm. All wealth, fame, and any good relationship it will not give any guarantees in this life. Bring us closer to the flow of love and power of God’s infinite. So peace and victory would be a part of us.

God bless!
